Understanding your colleagues isn’t necessarily the same as knowing what they mean.

There are many advantages of multicultural teams. Often they are seen as being more creative and innovative in finding solutions.

Nevertheless, to unfold these positive potentials and to achieve long-term advantages, it is necessary to reflect on the diversity of the team members and their individual expectations. Misunderstandings originate if different expectations and concepts about working processes as well as basic working conditions are not made transparent, if miscommunication is not addressed and the team doesn’t grow together.

This training deals with the influence of culture on cooperation in teams. Team members learn about their own values and working style preferences as well as strengths and weaknesses and how to make them transparent for others. Through the acknowledgement of diversity and the emphasis of common interests, a team culture can be established that values all team members.
