SIDEKICK Training & Coaching is about recognising the values of each individual and acknowledging the potential of every employee. This can be achieved when we foster the positive aspects of diversity through teamwork and collaboration. Intercultural training and coaching requires reflection on personal values and cultural influences. In addition, it is important to expand one’s knowledge about others and to be able to change perspectives. These are preconditions to changing one’s behaviour in an interculturally sensitive way, in order to improve communication with others.
The aims of my training & coaching are to encourage clients to become more sensitive in intercultural contexts, to understand their personal needs as well as the needs of others, and to learn to be flexible in adapting their own behaviour according to the situation.
SIDEKICK Training & Coaching addresses three levels of learning:
- Enhanced knowledge about other cultures based on intercultural theories (cognitive level)
- Practical experience of intercultural communication through relevant exercises (emotional level)
- Opportunity for trying out new communication behaviour (behavioral level).
